Abby Roberts has announced that she will be launching her collection with Morphe this weekend, after years of “manifesting” a collaboration with the beauty brand.
The 21-year-old TikTok star from Leeds has amassed more than 17million followers despite having had no professional training for a career in the beauty industry. She started out playing around with makeup products, before taking the time to perfect herself for the impressive works of art she creates today.
Abby took to Instagram earlier this week to announce that she was releasing her first collection with Morphe Cosmetics.
In the caption to her post, she wrote, “I can’t believe this day has finally come, working with Morphe has been a dream of mine since I was literally 11 years old.
“Creating my ‘artcasts’ collection with them truly embodies everything I want to be as an artist.”
“I’ve created a palette, liner, and brush set that I really hope is all you’ll need to create any makeup look EVER.”
Abby has 2.3 million followers on Instagram and more than 17 million followers on TikTok, as well as a music album and has toured with singer Halsey.
The beauty influencer’s defining moment came when top makeup influencer James Charles discovered her on social media, after recreating one of her makeup trends.
James responded by recreating the “Instagram eye look” trend Abby started, before asking her if she would create content for her Instagram story.
The collaboration allowed James’ 22 million followers to experience Abby and what she was capable of, which boosted her follower count from 50,000 to 100,000 overnight.
Abby posts everything from everyday looks to impressive, experimental art. In the past, she has experimented with a range of different characters and taken cosplay makeup to the next level.
Abby told Glamor magazine that her collaboration with Morphe Cosmetics took more than a year of work, after years of continually reaching out to them in hopes of teaming up for a project.
Abby said: “I was persistent. I wasn’t going to let them get away with not collaborating with me. And they finally backed off and let me.
“I wanted to create a palette that literally has everything I would need for everything I do.”
The Morphe x Abby Roberts Artcasts Collection drops on Sunday October 23, with prices starting at £16.
Abby gave fans a glimpse of the products in a selection of photos shared on her social media accounts. Many flocked to the comments section to congratulate her dream come true, including Jacques-Charleswho wrote: “So proud of you.”
