Kate Walsh tells how her skincare routine changed at 50

Kate Walsh has starred in many memorable roles, Dr. Addison Montgomery in Grey’s Anatomy (crossing her fingers that she makes another surprise appearance…and again), and her last, Emily in Paris play the director of the American public relations agency. With Walsh’s new role as an ambassador at Crepe Erase, the art looks like real life. “I had seen Jane Seymour in the informants and admired her years,” she shares with us. “When Crepe Release contacted me, I told them I didn’t need these products, but one day I did! The products worked within weeks. I was hooked.

Pancake Clear is an essential three-step system designed to treat goosebumps on the body and neck. As we age, skin becomes thinner and loses its ability to retain moisture due to decreased levels of elastin and collagen, resulting in crepe-like skin. A combination of photonutrients, peptides and encapsulated retinol are Crepe Erase’s premier actives to help support collagen and elastin production and structural resilience for visibly firmer, smoother and healthier looking skin.

Walsh explained how her skin changed when she turned 50. His secrets? Showers ending with 60 seconds of cold water, meditation, sleep and of course Crepe Erase. With his travel schedule, sleep would seem to be a challenge. “Nature is my great elixir. This is my binding force. When I feel jet lagged, I walk to reset my external clock,” she says.

The entertainment industry is notoriously tough and competitive, but Walsh always seemed to embrace it. “The best advice I ever received was to make a list of 20 things that bring you great joy. Break it down and do five things every day to change your mindset. Walsh this summer: traveling to Europe, spending more time with friends and family, and reuniting with his animals in Australia.”

A holiday in Australia has quickly changed from a long-term stay to an offer on a house. Now, when she’s not making movies, Walsh spends her time Down Under. When Covid numbers started to rise in early 2020 and Australia went into lockdown, she decided to settle permanently in Perth, living a picturesque life letting the weather dictate her daily schedule between the beach, farm or swimming.
